In short
We do not track you. This website sets no cookies for ordinary visitors, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or social media pixels. If you do not contact us, we do not collect anything that identifies you.
The only personal information we hold is what you choose to send us through the enquiry form, or by email or phone.
What we collect when you use the enquiry form
The form asks for your name, company, email address, phone number, city, the service you are interested in, your company size, your preferred contact method and time, and a description of your requirement. You may also attach a file.
You choose what to put in these fields. Only the name, company, email, phone, service, requirement and consent are required; the rest can be left blank.
What we do with it
Your enquiry is emailed to our team so that we can respond to it. You also receive an automatic acknowledgement confirming that we have it.
We use it to reply to your enquiry, to prepare a proposal if you ask for one, and to keep in touch about that enquiry. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
We do not add you to a marketing list on the strength of an enquiry. If we ever start sending marketing email, it will be because you asked for it, and every message will let you stop.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are delivered by email and are not saved into this website’s database. They live in our company mailbox, hosted with our email provider.
A file you attach IS stored on this web server so that it can be sent with your enquiry. If you would rather not have a document sitting on a web server, email it to sales@lansitsolutions.com instead of attaching it.
To stop the form being abused, we keep a short-lived counter of recent submissions. It records a one-way hash of your IP address, not the address itself, and it is discarded automatically within the hour.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we are in contact with you about it, and afterwards for as long as we may reasonably need it - for example if you become a customer, or if a question arises later about work we quoted for.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time and we will, unless we are required to keep it by law.
Other companies involved
Running a website means some third parties necessarily see technical information such as your IP address. To be straightforward about who they are:
- Our web host, who operates the server and keeps standard access logs.
- Our email provider, who carries enquiry email to and from us.
- jsDelivr and unpkg, two public code networks that serve some of the animation libraries this site uses. Your browser requests those files directly, so they see your IP address and the page you were on.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, if it is enabled on the enquiry form. It checks whether a submission looks automated. Cloudflare states that Turnstile sets no tracking cookies and does not collect personal information for advertising.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies for ordinary visitors. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
If you log in to the site as an administrator, WordPress sets cookies necessary to keep you logged in. That applies to our staff, not to visitors.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Write to sales@lansitsolutions.com and we will respond.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you are entitled to complain to the relevant data protection authority.
Children
This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information - for example by adding analytics or a chat widget - we will update this page and change the date below.
